PSP WIFI

Sony PSP can be connected to the internet network through wifi. The connection is done through 802.11 networks. It requires physical networking connections which include DSL line, modem, and cable models. The base station will communicate with other wireless devices through a relay of network requests which is then transferred to the physical networking connection. PSP supports a wireless connection with it’s built in Wi Fi capabilities. It also has a volume 2 of firmware updates.

PSP has a web browser that is powerful enough for viewing movies with its UMD memory also known as a memory stick. The game console can be used to connect with the internet without a wireless local networking for joining in. If the console displays a un access point, then it means that it is not in the range of the Wi Fi network area.

Types of Wi Fi connections

A PSP can be connected in two ways to the network; one is by the open networking and by network of the WEP (wireless encryption password).

Wireless encryption password

WEP is a better networking option for technically illiterate person. It can be used for downloading games and is very easy to find the password of the network which should be entered to the PSP to access the network.

Open network

Open network has direct application and does not require any password for network accessing. It is more risky for regular computer users. It is the easiest way for Sony PSP users who want to use internet in the PSP for downloads and other uses.

PSP Wi Fi hinder

PSP does not have the option of playing games through network game plays. It is unable to match the game speeds because PSP has a 333 MHz. The wireless feature of a PSP will not support the SPU speed. The PSP allows its users to utilize the default speed of 222 MHz.
