PSP upgrade
PSP can be upgraded by the play station portable firmware. It is the software that is in built in the PSP that will manage the activities of the game console. A lot of new added update features is released by the Sony Company that is just irresistible. One of the best update released by the Sony is the AAC files which have advanced graphics; RSS that helps in video downloads. Other updates include PSone gaming helps in downloading games from the PS3.
The basic steps for getting a PSP upgrade:
Step I
It is important to have an internet connection for downloading the upgrades. The connection should be wireless in order to function in the PSP. Scroll to the left of the home page of the Sony website. Go to the top of the menu. You will find a network update option that is marked as ‘X’.
Step II
The name of the connection should be selected and then proceed by pressing ‘X’. The PSP will get connected to the network and will notify whether any updates are available. A lot of updates with a variety of uses will flash.
Step III
If there are no updates available, then get a memory card with a memory of 21 Mb that can accommodate a fresh update into the console. Check after a while whether any new updates have been loaded. Keep checking for updates.
Step IV
Once the update is available, click that option in order to start the downloading. It will take some time based on the internet speed. The PSP should be switched on in order to accept the downloading. There should be enough memory in the PSP for transferring.

Step V
After the downloading is complete press the ‘X’ option again to start the up the new update. The PSP will be reset and start reloading in order to run the update program.
Press D-pad to accept agreement. Unplug the PSP till complete processing
