Ceramic White PSP
Ceramic White PSP is the latest device from the house of ‘Sony Computer Entertainment’. As the name suggests, it has a ceramic white color. The dimensions are 170 mm length X 74 mm width X 23 mm depth. The weight is around 260 g. This includes battery as well. The CPU has ‘system clock frequency’ of 333 MHz. The main memory consists of 32MB. The Embedded DRAM consists of 4MB. The length of the display is 4.3 inches. There are inbuilt stereophonic speakers.
Description
The color of ceramic PSP is white. It has a ’16:9 widescreen TFT LCD display’ with an ergonomic sleek design. The finishing is superb. Around 16.77 million colors are displayed on the 272 X 480-pixel screen. The resolution is very high. It is endowed with headphone connector (exterior), selection of sound mode, and brightness control. Controls and keys operate in the same way as PlayStation 1 and 2.
Ceramic White PSP is also equipped with miscellaneous output/input connectors like 802.11b (wireless LAN), and USB 2.0. Due to this, connectivity can be provided to different devices at home and Wi-Fi network outside. Gaming world is enhanced further by letting users take pleasure in online gaming through wireless network. The downloading of data and software can be done by the way of wireless network or USB onto ‘Memory Stick PRO Duo’. One can have the privilege to enjoy all the above features on a single system.
A small, high capacity ‘optical medium UMD (Universal Media Disc)’ is being adopted by the ceramic white PSP. This enables storage of game software, full-motion video, etc. The UMD newly developed has a diameter of around 60 mm, but its storage capacity is around 1.8 GB. To ensure the security of entertainment content, system protecting this copyright has been devised. It makes use of ID of unique disc, encryption keys, and an individual ID (for every unit of ceramic white PSP).
